How does the meet and greet work?
Before any bookings, we schedule a 20–30 minute visit at your home — no charge, no commitment. I meet your pets, learn their routine, and make sure everyone is comfortable. Most clients book their first visit the same week. You won't be asked to commit to anything at the meet and greet.
Are you insured and bonded?
Yes. Paws & Devotion carries full liability insurance and is bonded on every visit. That coverage protects you, your home, and your pets. You can ask for proof of insurance at any time — it's kept current.
Do I get a photo after every visit?
Every single visit ends with a photo update sent directly to your phone. It's not an optional add-on — it's built into the service. You'll always know how the visit went without having to ask.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens. Just reach out as early as possible. Cancellations with at least 24 hours notice incur no charge. For same-day cancellations, a half-visit fee may apply depending on the service. We'll always work with you to find a solution.
Will you care for cats, not just dogs?
Yes — cats make up a big part of the client base. Drop-in visits and daily feeding checks are especially popular for cats who do best in their own environment. Senior cats, shy cats, multi-cat households — all welcome.
How far in advance should I book?
For regular weekday walks or visits, a few days' notice is usually enough. For holiday weekends — Thanksgiving, Christmas, July 4th, spring break — book two to four weeks out. Spots fill quickly during those periods and we can't always accommodate last-minute requests.
What areas do you serve?
We primarily serve Pearland and the surrounding neighborhoods: Shadow Creek Ranch, Southern Trails, Southlake, Friendswood, Manvel, Alvin, Pomona, and Meridiana. If you're just outside that range, send a message — it's worth asking.
How is payment handled?
Payments are processed securely online via Stripe. You'll receive a link after booking confirmation. We accept all major credit and debit cards. No cash is required or expected on the day of the visit.
