We guarantee a 2-hour arrival on emergency calls, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including holidays. Emergency calls are dispatched within 15 minutes of your call. Our service trucks are stocked with the most common parts for furnaces, AC units, and heat pumps, which means most emergencies are resolved in a single visit. The flat emergency diagnostic fee is $99 — no surge pricing, no after-hours premium on the call itself.

Summit serves the full Denver metro area, including Denver proper, Aurora, Lakewood, Arvada, Westminster, Thornton, Centennial, Littleton, Englewood, Broomfield, Greenwood Village, Parker, Highlands Ranch, and Wheat Ridge. If you're unsure whether we cover your address, call us and we'll confirm immediately. We don't charge a travel fee within our standard service area.

Do you offer financing for a new furnace or AC system?

Yes. We offer 12-month same-as-cash financing on qualifying system installs — subject to credit approval through our lending partner. A $4,500 system, for example, runs approximately $375/month interest-free when paid in full within 12 months. We can give you an estimated monthly payment during your free in-home estimate. There's no obligation to finance — we just want you to know the option exists before you decide.

How much does it cost to replace a furnace in Denver?

A furnace replacement in Denver typically costs $2,200 to $4,800 installed, depending on the size of your home, the efficiency rating (AFUE) of the new system, and whether any duct modifications are needed. A standard 80% efficiency gas furnace on the lower end; a two-stage or modulating 96% AFUE system on the higher end. How often should I have my HVAC system serviced?

We're a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, Lennox Premier Dealer, and Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor, which means we have direct access to OEM parts and manufacturer technical support for those brands.

Is Summit Air & Heat licensed and insured in Colorado?

Yes. Summit holds Colorado HVAC Contractor License #CO-HVAC-20241. All technicians carry EPA 608 Universal Certification. We carry $2 million per occurrence in general liability insurance and full workers' compensation coverage on all techs. We're happy to provide documentation before any work begins — just ask.

What is included in the Summit maintenance plan?

The $179/year Standard Plan covers two visits: a spring AC tune-up (coil cleaning, refrigerant level check, filter swap, electrical connections, thermostat calibration) and a fall furnace inspection (heat exchanger inspection, igniter and flame sensor check, burner cleaning, flue venting inspection, filter swap). You receive a written 20-point inspection report after each visit, priority scheduling during peak seasons, and a 10% discount on any repairs needed during the plan year. The $229/year Premium Plan adds an annual duct inspection.
