Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026. This describes what brianwith.ai actually does, not what a template says it might.
What you give me
Several places on this site ask for information, and each one asks for only what it needs: the contact form (name, email, and what you wrote), the free skill and weekly letter signups (email, and first name if you give it), the founding-member waitlist (email), booking a call (name, email, and the time you chose), a listing video order (name, email, and the listing URL), and Instagram automations run through ManyChat (your Instagram handle and the email you send it).
If you buy something, checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email, billing address and card details. Card numbers never touch this site or any server I control.
What is collected automatically
Analytics and advertising tools load on every page for every visitor. There is currently no consent banner, so if you would rather not be measured, use a tracker blocker or your browser’s private mode — the site works fine without any of them.
Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, records pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, device and browser, and events like clicking a call to action or submitting a form. Meta Pixel records the same kind of page and event data and reports it to Meta, which uses it for advertising measurement. Microsoft Clarity records session replay: mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and the content of pages you view, so I can see where a page confuses people. Clarity masks form input by default, but treat a replay as though someone watched over your shoulder.
When you complete a purchase, a server-side event is also sent to Google and to Meta’s Conversions API recording that a sale happened and its value. Where an email address is included in that event it is hashed before it is sent, which lets the ad platform match a conversion without receiving the address in the clear.
Who else sees it
I do not sell your information, and I do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. It reaches these companies only because they run part of this service: Vercel hosts the site and logs requests; Stripe processes payments; Resend sends and stores the mailing list; Google, Meta and Microsoft provide the analytics and advertising tools described above; ManyChat runs the Instagram automations. Each holds your data under its own privacy terms.
I will also hand over information if the law requires it. There is no other circumstance in which it leaves.
Cookies
Google, Meta and Microsoft each set their own cookies for the purposes above. This site sets one of its own: bw_access, which holds your library access token after you sign up so that the credential is not sitting in a URL. It is httpOnly, meaning no script on the page can read it, and it expires after a year.
If you sign up for the weekly letter or the free skill, you go on the mailing list — the free skill form says so at the point you submit it. Every letter carries an unsubscribe link, it works immediately, and I will not email you to ask why. Transactional email — a receipt, a booking confirmation, the files you bought — is sent because you asked for the thing, and does not stop when you unsubscribe from the letter.
How long it is kept
Mailing list entries stay until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, which in the US is seven years. Analytics data follows each provider’s own retention, which is 14 months for Google Analytics by default and shorter for Clarity.
What you can ask for
Email brian@dryvn.com and I will tell you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live you may have a statutory right to those things; you do not need to cite a statute, and I will do it either way. Deleting purchase records I am legally required to keep is the one exception, and I will say so if it applies.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and I do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
